MARKO TURUNEN

Marko Turunen aka Superturunen is a Finnish comics artist, visual artist, and illustrator living in Kotka. He has received the Puupäähattu award for established comics artists.

Turunen’s major in art school was sculpting, but comics and illustrations make up the most visible part of his works. His comics have been translated into English, French, German, Italian, and Portuguese.

He has illustrated numerous magazines and five books for children and young people. In addition, he has illustrated a pizza box, the poster of the Love and Anarchy Film Festival, a bookmobile, and album covers for the record label Ektro.
